Contemporary signed large Marvin Bailey ceramic face jug with spout and handle. 'Marvin Bailey' carved to base. Brown drip glaze jug distinctively detailed with sculpted face, eyes, protruding ears and baring a mouthful of white teeth. Excellent condition - see photos for condition details.

Marvin Bailey is a self-taught potter from Lancaster, South Carolina famous for his highly expressive, whimsical, and sometimes grotesque characters.
