Pair of vintage carved soapstone twist candlesticks, likely Kisii soapstone from Kenya. Unmarked. Each is carved with a twisting column between a flared base and a wide drip tray, finished in tan stone with black mottled dye and salmon pink panels. Both etched with a zebra head and a branching tree. Sold together as a pair. Scratches and small surface marks near one candle cup and light scratching to the undersides of the bases, wear consistent with age - See photos for condition details.
