Miniature contemporary signed Marvin Bailey ceramic face jug. 'Marvin Bailey' carved to base. Dark, glossy green glaze with bulging white eyes, and a wide, grimacing mouth revealing sculpted teeth. Excellent condition - see photos for condition details.

Marvin Bailey is a self-taught potter from Lancaster, South Carolina famous for his highly expressive, whimsical, and sometimes grotesque characters.
