Description
3”H x 4.5”W x 4.5”D
Postmodern round linoleum box by Thomas Ehlers, made in 2000. Signed and dated inside lid. Includes small informational paper from artist. Reminiscent of polished stone work, these utilitarian boxes are actually created with commercial linoleum (the favorite flooring of the fifties). The inside structure is built to last - made of sturdy and ubiquitous PVC pipe. Each hand made box is precision laminated and machined, then carefully sanded, oiled, and buffed to a satin finish. Rubber cone feet stabilize this box, which is designed to hold almost any small treasures you choose. Mint condition - See photos for condition details.
