Our Rug Collection
At Chamonix House, our rugs span centuries of craftsmanship, each chosen for its character, quality, and ability to elevate a space. We use the terms antique, vintage, and contemporary intentionally—here’s what we mean:
- Antique (100+ years): Rare, handwoven pieces with rich history and natural patina. Subtle wear is part of their beauty.
- Vintage (20–100 years): A balance of age and versatility, often with distinctive patterns and softened, lived-in tones.
- Contemporary (newer): Recently made or contemporary in design, often using handmade, traditional techniques with updated colors and cleaner lines.
We believe there’s a great rug at every price point. Pricing reflects age, rarity, and condition—and a bit of wear can sometimes mean exceptional quality at a more approachable price.
Every rug is selected with an eye for authenticity, craftsmanship, and how it will live in your home.
